James Miller

James joined Earth Rover in September 2022, previously he was group CTO at TAFE tractors for 4 years (role with TAFE covered Head of PMO for the Group; Head of R&D for the Eicher brand of Tractor, Engine and Gensets; and last but not least establishing and building the Centres of Excellence (CoE) for future technologies in the areas of Power (Engines, Gensets, Alternative Power, Alternative Fuel); Tractors (Advanced Powertrain/ Electrification and Autonomy); and Connected Smart Farming (Agri solutions based around data acquisition, analytics/ ML/ AI and agronomy inputs)

He also has over 15 years’ experience taking products to market with his own engineering consultancy.

James Brown

James has over 15 years experience running Pollybell one of the UK’s largest blocks of organic land.  When he joined the family business back in 2007, he sold the family’s ag chem distribution and agronomy to focus on sustainable food production as he believed that the future of farming was without chemicals.  He is also involved in a number of other low carbon sustainable businesses including Lapwing Energy – renewable energy, Reverse Coal – carbon capture as well as running The Lapwing Estate (family estate).  He is a qualified chartered accountant, BSc Economics and Politics and  MSc International Relations both from University of Bristol

Luke Robinson

Luke builds deep-tech start up teams to solve global challenges and emerging opportunities.  His experience covers a range of fields including quantum computing, AI, photonics, robotics, ecology, semiconductors, and quant finance.  He has a PhD in Physics from University of Cambridge
